Food storage?
Bearing in mind the present state of affairs in the world, i.e. ongoing violent conflicts throughout the world, electricity shortages and also the deterioration in our weather (floods etc), do you think it is wise to store food?
What I mean by this is put aside a few tins of food, bottles of water every week to amass enough food to tide you over should there be a mass breakdown somewhere.
also we could store fuel and buy those cheap generators to allow us to have light and heating for a little while?
Perhaps I’m being a little melodramatic but it would be interesting to hear other peoples views on this subject
I always make sure i have enough food and water etc so that if I were taken ill or there was a crisis there would be enough for about 1-2 months. I think everything else would be excessive. Instead of spending time and money with generators, why not look into solar power or other alternative techniques that are not only a great back up but also environmentally friendly. This way if nothing does happen you have not wasted money as you can always save money with solar energy.
