FOOD STORAGE BINS

What do you think of this.. I’m going through all my old stuff and I’m having a “giving away” party?
I am a real pack rat, my fiance and I have all sorts of old things we don’t need anymore (we’re only in college!) so I am thinking about going through all of our old stuff, putting them in storage bins and inviting my friends for a giveaway party for all my old stuff. There will be drinks and food and everything a party should have, the perk is that they can go through the storage bins and take whatever they want. (I have old things like clothes, electronics, toys, books, etc) Do you think this is a good idea? Do you have any suggestions? I was also thinking about taking up donations or something, like everybody could bring a few bucks to go through the stuff. How much would be good? Like 5 bucks or less I would probably say, first come first serve
I like the giveaway idea. I wouldn’t want to charge someone to haul away some of my old stuff.
If nothing else give it away to Goodwill.
