FOOD STORAGE ESSENTIALS
Posted in Food Storage Systems | 1 Comment »

why did God create ugly horrible things? ?
death and decay, stench, maggots especially. also piss and poops and farts. i hate the sight of decomposition.
I mean, are all these things essential to live, to be human or a living being. couldnt we still be functional living beings without having to go though all of this?
okay, even if we had to die, why couldnt we just like say, fly to heaven in our angel wings, or just slowly disintegrate into thin air beautifully while waving goodbye to our loved ones?
also, the food we eat – why not just have it all be converted to energy, thus leaving out the need to go to the toilet? imagine the amount of trouble that can be saved by doing away with all this – no bacteria, no public toilets to maintain, we’ll have extra storage space in our homes.
why did God feel it necessary to create us in such a way that we have to go through all these things?
Well, there’s no god to have done any of those things, but they are all vital to life.
You probably want dead things to decay, otherwise the world would be pretty crowded with corpses by now, not to mention the fact that we would have run out of the minerals that life requires quite a long time ago (unless you want to eat the corpses).
As for excretion, well, you also probably want to expel toxic substances from your body. Direct matter to energy conversion isn’t really possible inside humans (or any organic being) and would just create a bunch of extremely energetic gamma rays (easily enough to completely vaporize you after even a very small meal).
Life evolved the way it did because it works, given the limitations of the medium, it came to a solution that solves the problems facing it. We’re not supposed *(necessarily) to be beautiful, just functional.
