You do realise you can just google this.
But, economy, it funds the Australian economy (if you’re in Australia) to a certain degree because it pays farmers to grow fruit etc and then jobs etc.
Society-wise, if they manage waste badly, we get a smelly city and groups are formed against/for. But all in all, society gets good juice.
